Jack was a guest at a number of cons I attended and was Toastmaster at the two DeepSouthCons I chaired - BeachCon and Son of BeachCon. I miss him.

100s of Short Stories Claim

[edit]

One of the trends I have noticed with Wikipedia articles on authors is the tendency to exaggerate the number of short stories an author wrote. I think this stems from a research laziness to actually look up the stories. In my opinion, the inaccuracy diminishes Wikipedia's credibility. I looked up the short stories attributed to Haldeman in ISFDB and they have 76 listed. I therefore edited the claim to read "at least 75". DanQuigley 19:30, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
