Note: Jeanne Crain's memorabilia collection is not yet officially listed as part of the repository as the bulk of it arrived in early 2004 after revisions to the site. Further, according to the archive's administrative assistant, Ms. Lee Carlson, Crain's collection is being documented and preserved at present and will be available for public view in the near future.

For actual reference (in a local news article) to Crain's inclusion in the archives, point your browser to: http://www.rarereminder.com/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1099421264&archive=&start_from=&ucat=20&content=chron_news.php—Preceding unsigned comment added by Keane4 (talkcontribs) 20:03, 10 November 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Two actresses or one? Jean and Jeanne Crain

[edit]

There is unquestionably another actress called Jean Craine (without the 'ne' at the end of her first name) who, as of 2007, is alive and living in northern England. I have reason to believe that this other actress was born in Preston, England, as the daughter of Eddie 'The Man With The Golden Trumpet' Calvert and that it was Jean and not Jeanne who was the star of A Letter to Three Wives. I am concerned that the biographies and filmographies of these two actresses may have been mistakenly merged or confused in this one article, as it is a natural assumption when looking through old film credits that Jean and Jeanne Crain were the same person; especially when they are similar-looking beautiful actresses of the same post-war era. Does anyone have any information which could help solve this question. 82.46.235.71 10:20, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Too many pictures?

[edit]

While Ms Crain was a lovely woman, the sheer number of pictures here tends to squeeze the text first one way then another. The pictures also do not seem to line up with the section they are most relevant to. Only the infobox picture is from after 1950, and it would probably be better for that section as other photos have clearer views of her face. --User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 15:35, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
