About me

[edit]

I was welcomed to Wikipedia March 29, 2005. I've since found my niche and plan to stay for a long time.

Some advice I have for fellow Wikipedians.
An nifty away message you can put up on your user page. Taken from User:ALoan.
An alert I use as a courtesy to contributors who infringe on copyrights.
A gentle reminder for contributors who do not fill out edit summaries.
Some users leave annoying vandalism proclaiming Wikipedia is factually inaccurate. This template asks them to either stop using Wikipedia or to change it to fit what they feel is accurate.
I often see newcomers who are very well-to-do in their contributions to Wikipedia but are completely misguided. I put together this reading list to help them so they do not have to sift through Wikipedia's articles to get to the most important information on how things are done. Feel free to add articles you think are missing.
A helpful summary for contributors who do not preview their edits, and fill up history pages with their work.
A helpful guide for contributors who remove text from articles without explanation.
