Comments:

  • Considering how much of a role in medicinal research a tumor plays, it deserves a much larger article. There's more to a tumor than "Oh he/she has a tumor." Millions of people die from them every year. Tumors even attribute to certain forms of cancer, which can be devastating to people's lives. -- Snipre 18:13, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Agreed. The current article is embarrassingly short, though some information on the subject is in the much more extensive cancer article. --LostLeviathan 04:32, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • That's tumour you heathens! - Ta bu shi da yu 04:40, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Comments:

  • There was more to the Balkans in World War II than "Italy invades, gets pants kicked, Germany takes over, eventally loses." We had Hitler invade Hungary in 1944 because the dictator Miklós Horthy was going to defect to the Allied side. We had the Yugoslav resistance led by Josip Broz Tito which gave the Nazis one headache after another. And of course, we had the Greek Campaign and the Battle of Crete. If I haven't made my case to help this lowly article then I'll just try harder. -- The KoG | Talk 21:14, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)

Comments:

  • There's still no article on this interesting topic, considering the fact that there are towns in some of the southern states bordering Mexico, where people no longer speak or about to stop speaking English due to influx of "settlers" from Mexico. KNewman 17:16, Jan 2, 2005 (UTC)
  • My vote would be on Reconquista, the article that actually exists (originally titled Reconquista (Mexico)). This one is also in need of editing. Cmon everybody! Don't we want a nice healthy Mexican history ready for this years Cinco de Mayo? bernlin2000 00:59, Jan 7, 2005 (UTC)
  • Dear Bernlin! The Reconquista ideas in today's Mexico was exactly the article I had in mind, not the Reconquista you changed it to. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. KNewman 13:58, Jan 7, 2005 (UTC)

Comments:

  • The Konbaung Dynasty was arguable the most important dynasty in Burma/Myanmar, being the last Burmese dynasty before falling to the British Empire. The leaders' decisions and dynasty's interactions with the British Empire defined the nation's modern boundaries and laid the foundation for Burma's turbulent modern history. The dynasty was quite expansionist, fighting multiple wars and extending Burmese territory to its largest size in history. As the Wikipedia lacks comprehensive information regarding Burma, improving this article would be a great starting point. There's some information in the article History of Myanmar. --Confuzion 00:05, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)

  • Indeed. At the very least it should incorporate Battle of the Bulge#Bastogne (from a recent featured article). A fuller discussion of the "Nuts!" quote -- or euphemism, as some allege -- would be appropriate here, as opposed to the longer article. --Dhartung | Talk 22:00, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)
