WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 04:58, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It's not usual to include other species in a genus in the "see also", since they can easily be reached from the genus page, and this avoids having to maintain many separate lists as articles are written for additional species.--Curtis Clark (talk) 18:47, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your justification seems reasonable (I'm the guy who put the list into the article). But shouldn't there be a "See also" with a link to the genus? Lou Sander (talk) 20:34, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's in the taxobox, but clearly from your experience, not all readers see it there.--Curtis Clark (talk) 22:08, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Datura wrightii

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Datura wrightii's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Preissel":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 22:01, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think I just fixed this stuff. I apologize if I didn't get every single one of them; I am a complex human being, and we aren't as good as you are at finding minor differences and inconsistencies. Lou Sander (talk) 22:47, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
