Hello Tim, welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian.

Here are some useful links in case you haven't already found them;

If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. Angela 18:07, 31 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I had seen some of those pages but not all of them. I think I've finally just about read through all the editing, layout, and style guides, but it is easy to get lost in all the links. Now I just need a little practice. I'm going to try to begin with a little weeding, some bulking up of articles in my area, and maybe even write a couple new pages. We'll see how things go. (And I'm going to have to break myself of this double space after a period thing. I know if I don't it will come back to haunt me.) PolymerTim 00:23, 2 Sep 2003 (UTC)

I think it's best if this page is just deleted.

[edit]

OK, so I'm a new Wikipedian and I recently created a stub for a non-existent (red) link that I found. Later, I realized that the same info was on a page with a more appropriate name. I edited the original link (from which I made the stub) to point to the more approproate page and now I think that the stub I created would best be deleted. The page that I changed the link on is Game which used to point to massive multiplayer online game (my stub which I believe should be deleted), but now more appropriately points to MMORPG. I guess that we could also just turn the full spelling into a redirect page, but currently nothing links to it (although I guess it might in the future). Let me know what you think we should do. Thanks. PolymerTim 00:25, 3 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Hi Tim, I think the long title is a sensible redirect in this case, which is what I've done. If you want to move any of the content you wrote into the MMORPG page, you can retrieve your content from the article history. There is a deletion page which you can leave future requests for deletion on. Angela 00:32, 3 Sep 2003 (UTC)
See redirect for more on redirects, if you like. Martin 15:46, 3 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Hi Tim, I had noticed some of your articles. The only thing I can comment on really is the length. The content means nothing to me I'm afraid! I noticed a few short pages. As I don't know anything about the subject area, I can't tell whether this is ok and they are areas that will be expanded by others, or whether it might be better to merge them into some sort of parent page. I guess this is something you will have to decide. If they are pages that could turn out to be longer over time, then it might be a good idea to add a stub notice to them, like the one I added at Cationic. This means that the page is automatically acessible from the Find or fix a stub page and has more of a chance of being found.

You can request a review at Wikipedia:Peer review where you might find more chemistry experts to help. Also, have a look at the list at Wikipedia:Wikipedians_by_fields_of_interest#Chemistry for some people who could help. You might want to add yourself to the list too. :) Angela 17:53, Sep 13, 2003 (UTC)

Hi Tim. In case you're still active (last contribution more than a year ago), you might take a look at this article. Originally, this was just a stub with a chemical equation. I put it up for Cleanup, but obviously nobody wanted to touch this subject. Then I did it myself, but my school days were in prehistoric times (more than 40 years ago) and my field of interest lies more in botany. Therefore, this article could use a review. Since you wrote the article Polymerization, you're probably the right man to do it. I also wanted to write the chemical equation for the polyether formation (with red curved arrows showing the movement of the electrons) and the chemical formula for ethylene oxide, but this probably requires a special software. Anyway, look into it if you can spare the time. JoJan 4 July 2005 08:47 (UTC)

Hi Tim, I just fixed a cross-namespace redirect on your page that should have gone to Wikipedia:Weeding Wild Wikipedia. Hope you don't mind. Graham87 05:38, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
