Patrick, Some of the meanings of the abbreviation NS in English are Nova Scotia, Non-Smoking, New Statesman, Non-Specific and no doubt other lesser ones. NS only stands for Nederlandse Spoorwegen in Dutch and thus belongs in the Dutch Wikipedia not the English one. While an article on the Nederlandse Spoorwegen itself is a good thing, I can't see a good reason for adding this disambiguation page -- Derek Ross

Oh, I thought NS is the common name for it, even in the English language, not DR. And SNCF is also there. And it would be useful to have the other meanings here also. Where is NS used for Non-Smoking? - Patrick 16:38 Jan 14, 2003 (UTC)
