I think there should be two lists, one for oil companies and one for lists of automotive fuel brands. I see it is just a redirect. How should a link appear to List of automotive fuel brands be made?

[edit]

I find that under * ENI - Italian petrol company (which directs to Escuela Nacional de Inteligencia)

IP - which isn't listed as a fuel brand.
This isn't cool. Josh Parris 05:52, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Holiday Stationstores

[edit]

This is a popular gas station here in Alaska. According to their website, they cover the Pacific Northwest and the northern Midwest. I don't know if they produce their own gas, so I didn't want to add them to this article yet. Info on their petroleum, which doesn't mention that it's bought from another company: [1]. Should it be added? cluth 20:52, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merge

[edit]

Well known gasoline & petrol station brands from the Filling station article should be merged into this article and the other section eliminated. There is no reason to try and maintain this data in two places. Vegaswikian 00:02, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gulf Oil should be listed under Chevron

[edit]

Gulf Oil and Chevron "merged" in 1984, and thus the Gulf Oil brand could be listed under and among the Chevron brands.

Imperial Oil

[edit]

Imperial Oil (Esso) is owned by Exxon Mobil. It operates under that name in Canada and uses the brand Esso, which is Exxon's international brand. It should be listed under Exxon Mobil because that is the parent company.

If it were to be left alone, then separate Shell Canada from Royal Dutch Shell as it has the same relationship Imperial Oil has to Exxon Mobil. Gunis del 03:46, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More brands

[edit]

How about Purple Martin, Blarney Castle, and Lassus? The first two had outlets in Michigan, and the third in Indiana. Zephyrad (talk) 01:37, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
