Miss Statement about Richter's Power Level

[edit]

According to Alucard in Symphony of the Night, Richter powers were "Supreme among vampire hunters" and that "None other could defeat him," although his in-game appearance as a boss is rather weak. This is attributed to the fact that fighting Richter, instead of Shaft's orb, will lead to the Bad or Worst Ending, much like fighting Dario, instead of Aguni, in the second encounter in Dawn of Sorrow.

It should be pointed out that Alucard was asleep for several years and has never met Richter. When Alucard speaks to Shaft he says that Belmont's Power is Supreme among vampire hunters not Richter's ( at the point of this he has defeated Richter already). I find the above statement misleading as it implies that Richter was some how stronger then all other Belmont's before him. This may not be the case. ALucards Belmont Experience was mostly from Trevor and so he most likely referred to Trever when talking about there power. This is also shown in the scene between Alucard and Marie where the graphical thought bubbles illustrate two very different thoughts of what a Belmont looks like.

Dracula = Gabriel?

[edit]

OK, I'm coming to this pretty cold, having never played the games; I arrived at the article looking for context behind something someone else said in relation to the characters.

The Alucard entry, as it stands, is confusing; it says he was originally the son of Gabriel and Maria Belmont ... but later in the section a magic mirror shows him who his father, Gabriel, really was, and he takes pity on him ... at which point Dracula realises he's his son? I really feel like I'm missing something, as there's nothing else anywhere in the article that points to a blood link between them, or indeed any hint that Dracula is actually Gabriel or vice versa. They appear to be two wholly separate characters (from different games, even), so... wtf? Was Alucard actually Dracula's son who was adopted by the Belmonts, or were Gabriel and Maria actually Dracula and Lisa in disguise, or what? 146.199.0.170 (talk) 15:52, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Split Simon Belmont

[edit]

He is the main character of multiple Castlevania games and is a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.(Oinkers42) (talk) 13:35, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(Oinkers42) No one still has attempted to make article, but here's the list of sources.
List
Comment I don't think this would be a split so much as a separate article that doesn't require community consensus. If you think it's notable then make it or, better yet, put it through WP:AFC. I would be careful though, as most of those articles don't seem to have WP:SIGCOV, which is a necessary element to prove notability, not just trivial mentions.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 19:41, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
