Why Majlis? I think we should write parliament. --Sina 12:57, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Well, parliament is the general political term for this thing. Look at the US case for example: There is Congress and there is Senate, and you can call either the Congress or both together the parliament. In case of Iran, there may be the same problem with Majlis+Guardian Council for example. So, while the general understandable term is parliamet, the exact term should better be Majlis (or so I believe). Roozbeh 22:57, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Minister of Communication and Information Technology

[edit]

On the Iranian presidency website [1], the title is clearly "Communication and Information Technology", and not "Information and Communication Technology". Sina, do you insist? Roozbeh 22:45, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)

New Ministry

[edit]

Tell me about your views about New Ministry name: Ministry of Common Wealth and Social Security or Ministry of Welfare and Social Security?Diffrence are between Common Wealth or Welfare? --Sina 20:27, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit]

According to new legislation, since now we don't have Physical Training Organization more than this. There will be National Sports Oraganization.

Sadegh-Bonab

[edit]

Actually, Sadegh-Bonab is titled "sarparast-e vezaaratkhaane-ye ...". That is different from being an "acting Minister", since it does not have a mandate. Pouya, may I change it back? roozbeh 17:24, Dec 20, 2004 (UTC)

I don't see any differnce. You mean he has a mandate?--Pouya 00:41, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)
