[edit]Hey! I was going to review it and suggest that the author should try to find more reliable sources covering him as he has a potential to be notable due to newspaper coverage at that time.[1] Could you undelete it so that I can suggest some improvements to the article.

- ^ In fact, the message was: There are some issues with this draft. First, remove the double title and bold the article name in the lede. Secondly, change the tone so it'll be more neutral and add some neewspaper sources if possible, and thirdly, move the article to just H Karl Butler. After that, I'll accept it.
- Tavantius, it helps if you provide a link. Usually I restore deleted articles on request from an editor who isn't the author, but I'm not convinced here. Apart from the title, which I could have fixed myself, there are some real red flags, and I'm surprised that you even considered accepting it.
- The text was created in a single edit with no wikilinks and no proper refs, could be copied from somewhere or a LLM creation
- The quotations are unattributed and as such are copyright violations by definition.
- Most of the text is unreferenced, and the two "references" are to a self-published book, not appropriate as RS even if we had page numbers, isbns and access to any of the text, so effectively the text is unreferenced, and can't establish notability.
- The creator's only edit is the creation of this full length draft, don't you think there might be a COI?
- I think I would want to see the author declare any COI and indicate some acceptable references before restoring. What do you think? Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:18, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- I wasn't intending to accept it. All I wanted to do is decline it and review it. Tavantius (talk) 15:21, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Tavantius, I misunderstood your comment. I've posted a COI/welcome message on the author's talk, so let's see what becomes of that Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:32, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
