Computer simulation → Computer model – "Computer simulation" is a much more broad term than what appears to be the content of this article, which is primarily about modeling things like weather phenomena and other natural systems. It might need to become a DAB page, if not a separate broad concept article to "simulation". Right now, though "computer model" or "computer modeling" is the more common term for what is being described here. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 05:38, 2 April 2024 (UTC) — Relisting.– robertsky (talk) 09:58, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that computer model or modelling is the more accepted language. I (fwiw) am happy for you to change it. But looking at the definition included in the page, which sort of says simulation is the process of running the model and modelling is the process of constructing the model, I think that the current content of the page more reflects of what is related to running the model. The link computer model currently points to this page so either way people will find it. More importantly I think the title acts as a guide on what to write in the page. I think it would be better if you change the computer model page from a redirect to be a page about how to create a model. That would be useful information. There is also a page named computational model but that is pretty vacuous. NeedsGlasses (talk) 04:31, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - I agree with analysis by NeedsGlasses. Moving would not be a significant improvement. Let's keep it as it is unless/until there's a stronger argument or a separate Computer model article, though I don't see a need for that either. ~Kvng (talk) 17:20, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
