Describe the new page here.

The number of states parties is inaccurately listed as 66 according to the US Department of State, which lists 68 state parties, including Brunei (1 Jan 1964) and St Kitts/Nevis (19 Sep 1983).

Cordially,

What is this about? I don't know, and I wondered if the article could explain what it is, not just the countries that have agreed to it. S♦s♦e♦b♦a♦l♦l♦o♦s (Merry Christmas!) 03:05, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Republic of France.

[edit]

This article may wish elaborate on France's situation as she seems to be entirely out of this treaty, despite being a major nuclear power and a permanent member of the UN Security Council. Thus their abstention is quite unusual and notable. What were her reasons to stay out, why NATO didn't work as a single bloc regarding ENMOD, etc? 158.88.16.4 (talk) 12:10, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
