Can someone please explain the significance of having André Rieu Live in Tuscany listed? Especially that the article it links to does not exist? Thanks.—Ëzhiki (erinaceus europeaus) 16:51, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)

I deleted it. If it is notable, please restore and note it here.—Ëzhiki (erinaceus europeaus) 16:28, Mar 21, 2005 (UTC)

ABSOLULTE CONFUSION!

[edit]

Can someone please organize the list of TV shows?! --Tornado Kid 02:24, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

They are currently sorted in the order of the start year, then alphabetically. Re-sorting them any other way will lead to the necessity to re-sort all other "Years in television" articles, but if you have a good suggestion regarding how the shows can be sorted differently (and hopefully better), I'd be quite open to discussing it.—Ëzhiki (erinaceus europeaus) 03:42, Mar 15, 2005 (UTC)

Too many Events

[edit]

As of today, there are 52 events on this page. Compare that to 2004 in television, which has 22.

It seems to me like some of them should be removed - do we really need all these Doctor Who ones, for example? The first one, yes, but I'm not sure about the others.

Perhaps another idea is to split the page up into individual countries, like 1926-1930 and 1976 in television. At the moment, it's looking a little too overcrowded to me. BillyH 18:49, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, Billy! I completely agree that there are currently too many events listed. It was my plan to re-format all television pages so they would be organized just as 1926-1930 & 1976 ones, but then my wikitime budget went bust, and I abandonded this idea until I have more time in unspecified distant future. If you, or anyone else, wishes to continue working on 1931-2006, please, feel free. I'll be glad to answer any questions if there are any.
Also, while I consider the articles on "Before 1925" through 1930 completed, they are lacking references. If I am to ever return to these articles, I will start with those, and then continue with 1931 onward. Don't hold your breath waiting for me, though :(—Ëzhiki (erinaceus amurensis) 18:57, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've done 2005 in British television, using the 1976 page as a template. Anyone fancy helping me with the other countries? BillyH 04:53, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
