When was Amnesiac released?

[edit]

The infobox currently says it was released on 5 June 2001, but it doesn't say where (is that all territories?), and it isn't sourced. Fan wikis I've found say 4 June. The Pitchfork review, which is dated 4 June, says it was released "last Tuesday". Is there a definitive method of checking this? Based on articles by the Los Angeles Times and the Philadelphia Enquirer, along with an interview on BBC Radio, Amnesiac seems to have been released on Monday, June 4th in the United Kingdom, and Tuesday, June 5th in the United States. TheGreatGameLord (talk) 19:38, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
TheGreatGameLord, great, thanks! Could you link to those sources so we can use them in the article? Popcornfud (talk) 20:13, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

about the "artwork and packaging" section

[edit]

I checked the artwork and packaging section on this article, and for some reason, I'm pretty sure they described the I Might Be Wrong cover instead of the Amnesiac cover. Here's an excerpt from that section: "Other figures depicted in the artwork include faceless terrorists, self-serving politicians and corporate executives." There's none of that on the Amnesiac cover, just the crying minotaur on a red background. Is there a reason for this or is it a mistake? National fink gamng (talk) 18:00, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's describing all the artwork, including the album booklet, not just the album cover. For example [1]. Popcornfud (talk) 19:10, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OH ok. now I get it National fink gamng (talk) 20:20, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can see how this could be confusing, so I've edited the text to spell it out. Popcornfud (talk) 22:52, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
