Young advocated a process theory, which is a form of integral theory.

I don't think that all process philosophies are integral. Have you listened to Wilber's CD "Speaking of Everything" in which he discusses Whitehead explicitly? --goethean 18:52, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Can't say I have listened to that one. I just got "Kosmic Consciousness" from the library this week. I have read quite a lot of Whitehead, except for Process and Reality which is some of the most dense prose ever written. Most people use a commentary text to help get through that one. I would be interested to hear Wilber's take on Whitehead. Whitehead does refer to an "underlying eternal energy" in Science and the Modern World which he then equates with Spinoza's "one substance", which is another way of saying "non-dual reality". That would seem to be an integral approach. --Blainster 07:50, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Search on "transpersonal" here. --goethean 14:03, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Removed some invalid ISBNs

[edit]

As part of normal ISBN maintenance (see CAT:INVALID) I removed some invalid ones. This is determined by the check sum -- isbn.org/converterpub.asp can be used to verify these numbers. All the listed books have been left with at least one working ISBN, so I felt it was OK to remove the ISBNs for the extra editions in the case where it was invalid. Now the page is safely out of Category:Articles with invalid ISBNs. I trust that having the ISBNs listed for the extra editions is not of key importance to the article. With enough patience you might be able to find good ISBNs for the extra editions. EdJohnston 02:36, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
