Basic info-- accuracy

[edit]

The location in the intro at the top of the article was off by a few miles. so i edited it to reflect the immediate proximity of Beaverton to Portland. parts of Beaverton are right on the Portland boundary, and the boundary of the main area of Beaverton is less than a mile from Portland. NOT 7 miles from Portland! http://www.beavertonoregon.gov/DocumentCenter/Home/View/844 Meat Eating Orchid (talk) 23:20, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The introduction describes the general relationship by direct distance of the city centers (which are 6.72 miles apart), not the boundaries. Other sensible descriptions are the fastest driving distance (8.5 miles), and the most direct walking distance (7.9 miles). Accordingly I have reverted the edits making the change, though they are not obviously by you. —EncMstr (talk) 01:25, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

minor tweaking to clarify actual distances so as not to mislead readers. Meat Eating Orchid (talk) 02:30, 8 February 2014 (UTC).[reply]
