I don't really see why all that copyright notice stuff is needed. ECB doesn't require it, and the article was properly sourced as it was. --Vikingstad 23:28, 1 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I took off the irrelevant copyright notice (from the ECB). It's clear that Wikipedia was not violating the ECB copyright conditions.

However, it is clear that this article was primarily written by central bankers or Eurocrats who don't know how to write clearly. It contradicts itself e.g. 1st and 3rd sentences. Let's try to clean this up more and put it in plain English. Smallbones 11:41, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eurosystem

Why are the objectives of the Eurosystem mentioned in this article and not the objectives of the European System of Central Banks itself? It is odd that the objectives of the ESCB are mentioned in the article Eurosystem but not here. --PJ Geest (talk) 16:47, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
