No Me Corten El Pelo (1990) is Menudo's[1][2] 30th album (18th in Spanish).

It features Sergio Gonzalez, Rubén Gómez, Robert Avellanet, Rawy Torres, and new member Adrián Olivares, after César Abreu departed from the group suddenly when he was bullied.[3] This would be the last album Sergio, Rubén, Robert and Rawy recorded as members of the group. What happened in November 22, 1990 and April 6, 1991 became a huge crisis in Menudo's history:

On November 22, 1990, Gonzalez and Gómez were detained[4] by Customs at Miami Airport for possession of marijuana and were immediately expelled from the group, just nine days before the album could be released on December 1.[5]

Once the album was released, management decided to find some new auditionees and filled the two spots with Edward Aguilera (age 13) of Spain and Jonathan Montenegro (age 12) of Venezuela on December 13, 1990. During that time, the lineup consists of Robert/Rawy/Adrian/Edward/Jonathan, and they were supposed to cleanup the image of what Sergio and Ruben had ruined according to what Montenegro said during an interview on the Documentary Miniseries of Menudo: Forever Young, but then a few months later on April 6, 1991, the huge and surprising unexpected happened: Avellanet, Torres, Aguilera, and Montenegro held a press conference and announced they were quitting the group due to physical abuse,[6] mental abuse,[7] emotional abuse, and they have came out of what happened during their time, though Edgardo Diaz, Menudo's Manager, would eventually deny all these claim saying that Rawy Torres, who was speaking most of conference meeting, was being Ridiculous at the time and wanted more money,[8] with Olivares remaining in the group. Management moved quickly and replaced the four with new members Alexis Grullón of Dominican descent, Abel Talamántez of Mexican descent, Andy Blázquez born in Puerto Rico, and Ashley Ruiz of Cuban descent.
