not a borough

[edit]

Need someone with better code-fu than myself to fix this. The article uses {{Infobox U.S. county}}, which, when Alaska is selected for the state parameter, causes it to incorrectly display at the top of the box that this is a borough (Alaska version of a county). This is clearly incorrect, this is a census-designated area and part of the Unorganized Borough which has no local government. The article does a poor job of explaining this and appears to contradict itself, I can work on that. I tried just converting it {{Infobox settlement}}, but when I previewed that edit it clearly did not work. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:41, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Beeblebrox: hello! Per Template:Infobox U.S. county#Name, seems like we can override the "borough" using the | type = parameter. Special:Diff/951200879 shows it works as I'd expected. Thanks for your contributions, and stay well! Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 00:26, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
