Fair use rationale for Image:Alan Francis Doyle.jpg

[edit]

Image:Alan Francis Doyle.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:13, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page Move

[edit]

This page should be moved to Doyle, as that is the most commonly used name. He is hardly ever referred to by his full name.--NeilEvans 22:20, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Doyle's Age

[edit]

Where did the 1970 birth year come from? I don't remember anything quite that specific being stated in the series. Its a lie lah (talk) 06:25, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't recall but on a number of character pages, the actor's age was included in lieu of any facts from the show. That shouldn't have happened, but the info has remained, probably because each editor that comes along is never quite certain it didn't come from some so-far-uncited episode, and so lets it be. --Nalvage (talk) 13:46, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Allen Francis Doyle" v. "Doyle (Angel)"

[edit]

I believe we've got a problem -- err, two problems here. For one, the title of this article and its lead-in conflict on the character's name. For two, the article should probably be changed to "Doyle (Angel)" per articles like Connor (Angel) and Lorne (Angel), since Doyle is the name by which the character is primarily called in the series. "Cambion"

[edit]

Is the character ever specifically referred to by this term? I can't find any evidence of it being used in the Buffy/ Angel universe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.69.56 (talk) 00:43, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
