Significant events?

[edit]

OK, so what, to you, "SoM," classifies as significant? MAYBE I can see removing Maely's mom and mate, since we never actually see either, but his father was the whole reason he got into villaining in the first place; and his son was the reason he was absent from the villain scene from 1998 to 2005.

Again--while I disagree with removing the supervillains he gave genetic info to, I can grudgingly accept it. But the Weird Sisters and his minions are fairly important, in my view. (Thanos6)

In view of the dad, Sisters and minions, my test for putting them into the sidebox is "can they merit their own article which is more than a regurgitation of the facts in the article at hand". It's designed for quick intrawiki links and the briefest summaries possible rather than an exhaustive list. Otherwise, they can go in the text, where relevant, but not the SHB. - SoM 00:06, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Power levels

[edit]

And finally, how in the world is it irrelevant that he may have been capable of fighting Thanos w/ the Gauntlet to a standstill?! That would make him the only being in the universe to do so. (Thanos6)

Ah. The power level thing. The fact is that, in in-canon comics, he didn't fight Thanos to a standstill, and even then it would be the EVENT, not the power levels at hand which would be significant. Speculation or what-ifs shouldn't be included (in general, not the specific example). (well, What If Maelstroms could be included under a seperate ==Alternate Reality Maelstroms== heading, but that's a different matter) - 00:06, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)
All right, I'll work on finding ways to work all this stuff into the text, maybe subheadings for "Maelstrom's Minions" and "Alternate Reality's." - Thanos6
