London / Thailand

[edit]

The Mall is also a street in London. There's something to do with queenie and her parades there -- Tarquin 00:07 Jan 11, 2003 (UTC)

I guess it's used as a generic word to name that kind of place. There may be more than two Malls in the world. --FvdP
the street name in L is "The Mall". -- t
Yet, there's also this: The Mall (in Thailand, but don't ask me where exactly, I can't read this page). --FvdP
The Thailand site is just a shopping complex, prolly not worth adding. --Qaz
I never meant to add it. It was just a little joke. I've found no significant 3rd Mall so far. (BTW, I've found an explanation for your remark on my talk page, see there). --FvdP
Ah, I did not think it was a joke cuz you said you could not read the page so I did not realize you were kidding. Sorry for being DENSE :) --Qaz

Dab

[edit]

Made The Mall into a disambiguation page. Qaz

Might want to get a little more generic. I didn't know a mall could be a road like in London, but the term is used to describe many grassy areas in the USA (like The Mall in Washington, D.C., and an area on the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis campus). Additionally, shopping malls are frequently called The Mall. —Mulad

Merged The Mall dab into Mall dab, this is the talk from the former. --zippedmartin 15:50, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
