Proposed merge with 19th July 1940

[edit]

Unless an actual topic can be determined, this article is just about some historical events on a particular day. As such, it's unsourced, and has no central theme. freshacconci talk to me 04:18, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I highly disagree. 19th of July is a very important date in German military history, and an important event in World War Two. Since the event (to my knowledge) doesn't have a certain name, I was forced to call it "19th July 1940". My sources regarding this article has been countless other of wiki-articles connected with World War Two, and I did link them as credible sources, but got removed somehow

Wikipedia articles cannot be considered as sources, since they are supposed to be based on other sources. I'll redirect the article until proper sources are provided. Also, we don't normally use dates as titles for articles on historical events. Victão Lopes Fala! 03:03, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What have you done to my article??? what have you done with it? - Jonas Vinther

Under Events, the sentence "In one of the first militant attacks by Hezbollah, David S. Dodge, president of the American University of Beirut, is kidnapped.." only needs one period at the end. 98.210.124.96 (talk) 15:37, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Under Events, the sentence "A car bomb kills Judge Paolo Borsellino and five members of his escort" is missing a period. 98.210.124.96 (talk) 19:45, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

On the date of the title of the discussion, Earth rotated 1,4602 milliseconds faster than normal surpassing July 5, 2005 that was 1,0516 milliseconds than normal and i think it should be added to the article, being the shortest Day in history currently.
