Map and pics added

[edit]

I’ve added a map and two pictures of the lower rivers to this page. I lived in Adachi-ku (Odai), so I have plenty of pictures if this section ever warrants further expansion. Unfortunately, I don’t have much in the way of useful information to add.

Question: In regards to Arakawa River. Since "kawa" means river, isn't saying Arakawa river redundant? Would “Ara River” be more accurate, or merely confuse the issue? Kirkpatrick 19:59, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

As for the question, it is the same problem as to say HIV virus and Hokkaido Prefecture, where V means virus and Do prefecture. In wikipedia, it seems we have not resolved this problem yet. Our job, which is not done yet, is to see what other reference works are doing and follow them. -- Taku 21:29, Feb 13, 2005 (UTC)

Is there a need for the reference to Junko Furata in History? She was from Misato, Saitama, and found in Koto ward. If there is a connection to Adachi, it is not mentioned. keisetsu 05:36, 6 Feb 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.91.60.204 (talk)
