Move the title name to "LGBTQ community"

[edit]

The Wikipedia article of LGBT has been moved to LGBTQ. So the title of this article should move to "LGBTQ community". AimanAbir18plus (talk) 15:54, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 27 August 2024

[edit]

– The article LGBTQ, which is about the initialism, was moved recently from LGBT after a recent requested move. LGBTQ has become the clear common name among reliable sources for the initialism, and this is also the case for the terms LGBTQ culture (See the ngram for LGBT vs LGBTQ culture) and LGBTQ community (Ngram for LGBT vs LGBTQ community). While I could have made this RM much broader in scope, I wanted to see if there was consensus to move LGBT community & LGBT culture and its subtopics (subtopics of LGBT culture) first (other articles like LGBT rights or LGBT history would have been more contentious because LGBTQ is not the more commonly used name in those instances [1] [2]). This new title would be consistent with the initialism and as the common name would better fulfill the article criteria. ~ F4U (talkthey/it) 17:44, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
